Chia quark rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g natural yogurt
  • 225 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 egg(s), size M
  • 5 tsp, heaped chia seeds
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 375 g spelt flour type 630
  • 1 ½ packets of baking powder
  • 5 tbsp sesame seeds, light
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp, leveled flour

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Combine yogurt, quark, salt, egg, and chia seeds and let stand for 5 minutes. Sift the spelt flour with baking powder and knead it into the quark mixture to form a dough. Divide the dough into nine equal portions, shape into rolls, and score them crosswise. Mix the milk with the flour, lightly brush each roll with it, and press it into the sesame seeds. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat) and bake the rolls for about 20 minutes, not overcooking. Let cool on a wire rack.
