Chia seed jam

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 tbsp chia seeds
  • 250 ml water or milk
  • 1 handful of raspberries
  • 1 tbsp honey or sweetener
  • 1 dashes lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Puree the berries. Add the chia seeds and honey and mix. Depending on your taste and the type of fruit, add a squeeze of lemon juice for a slightly tangy note. Pour the jam into a jar or container. Fill the jar only 3/4 full, as the chia seeds will cause the jam to expand. Place the jam in the refrigerator and let it set for 20 minutes. The jam will keep refrigerated for 2-3 days.
