Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 onions
- 1 leek(s)
- 2 chili peppers
- 600 g chicken breast
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp, heaped mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- oil

the mayonnaise adds that certain something
Dice the onions. Wash and trim the leeks and chilies, then slice them into thin rings. Rinse the chicken breast briefly under cold water, dry them, and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Mix with salt, pepper, and 2-3 tablespoons of cornstarch. This ensures the chicken is nice and tender. Heat enough oil in a wok or large frying pan. Fry the meat over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Add the onions, chilies, and leeks and fry for 3-4 minutes. Stir in the mayonnaise, soy sauce, and fish sauce. We like this dish best with rice.
