Chicken breast cubes with grape and cinnamon sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 ½ dl white wine
  • 1 ½ dl broth
  • 1 dl cream
  • 1 ½ tsp honey
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 150 g grapes, blue, halved, pitted
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the chicken breasts into approximately 2 cm cubes and fry in hot olive oil for approximately 5-7 minutes (turning occasionally). Season with pepper, salt, and paprika. Transfer to a bowl and keep warm. Sauté the onions and garlic in the butter, add the flour, and continue to cook. Deglaze with the wine and stock, stirring constantly, and bring to a boil. Add the honey, cinnamon, and cream and bring back to a boil briefly. Stir in the grapes and diced chicken breast and simmer until just warmed through. Season again with salt and pepper.
