Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 1 broccoli
  • 200 ml cream
  • 200 g Cheddar cheese
  • 100 g gratin cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly jalapeño(s)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the chicken fillets, pat dry, and season with salt. Sear in a large pan in a little oil for about 2 minutes on each side. Cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces and place them in a wide casserole dish with the chicken fillets. Season with pepper. Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, deseed the chili pepper and cut into small rings. Finely grate the cheddar cheese. Heat the cream in a saucepan and melt the grated cheddar in it. Add the sliced ​​chili pepper and season with salt and pepper. Depending on how spicy you like it, you can also slice a jalapeño and add it. Pour the sauce into the casserole dish and scatter the gratin cheese over it. Bake everything together for another 10 minutes. Serve with rice.
