Chicken breast in cream and mustard sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 350 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. Herbs of Provence
  • 1 shot of white wine
  • 1 tsp chicken broth, granulated
  • 2 tsp mustard (Dijon)
  • Clarified butter
  • some water

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear them in heated clarified butter, then remove from the pan. Add a little water, cream, and the white wine to the pan. Add the mustard, chicken stock granules, and Provençal herbs. Bring to a boil and season to taste. Add the meat and simmer gently for about 20-30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the chicken breasts. Serve hot. Serve with tagliatelle or other pasta and a green salad.
