Chicken breast in tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g chicken breast fillet(s) (fresh or frozen)
  • 1,000 g tomato(s), pureed from can or tetra pack
  • 250 ml sauce (cheese and cream sauce, tetra pack)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 pack of herbs, frozen
  • Spices)
  • 400 g rice (or noodles if you prefer)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 onions
  • 3 cloves garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Sauté the onions and garlic, deglaze with the canned tomatoes/Tetra sauce, and bring to a boil briefly. Then add the cheese and cream sauce, soy sauce, and generous seasonings to taste (broth granules, pepper, paprika, curry powder, etc.). Wash and dry the chicken breast, and place it in a large casserole dish. Pour the tomato mixture over it, ensuring the meat is well coated. Then cook everything in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 1.5-2 hours. Cook the rice and mix it with butter and the package of frozen herbs.
