Chicken breast skewers

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 chicken breast fillets
  • 1 cup of natural yogurt
  • e.g. milk
  • salt and pepper
  • curry powder
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • 2 garlic cloves, fresh
  • some wooden skewers

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 30 minutes

for grill and pan

Wash the chicken breast fillets, pat dry, and cut into thin strips. Soak the wooden skewers in water. Mix the yogurt with a little milk until smooth and season with the spices. Grate the garlic into the yogurt using a fine grater; you can add a bit more seasoning if you like. Thread the meat strips onto the skewers in a wave-like pattern and place the finished skewers in the yogurt marinade. Let the skewers marinate for a few hours; I like to let them marinate for a whole day. Then grill or pan-fry.
