Chicken breast with broccoli from the wok

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 360 g broccoli, frozen, or 1 small fresh head
  • 25 g peanuts, unsalted
  • 100 ml soy sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • Ginger powder
  • salt and pepper
  • Wok oil, flavored
  • 1 pack of Chinese egg noodles

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cut the chicken fillet into bite-sized pieces. Cut the broccoli (defrost it first if necessary) into bite-sized pieces. Heat the oil in a wok and fry the meat. Season with salt and pepper. Remove the meat and set aside. In the wok, fry the peanuts first, then the broccoli. Deglaze with about 100 ml of soy sauce (if you prefer more sauce, you can add more). Add 1 teaspoon of brown sugar and a little ground ginger. Simmer for a few minutes. Meanwhile, cook the Chinese noodles according to the package instructions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
