Chili pasta with ham

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 350 g pasta, whole wheat spaghetti
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 slice(s) cooked ham (200 g each)
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 pepper, red
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the noodles in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. Dice the ham. Peel the garlic and slice into thin slices. Halve the chili pepper lengthwise, deseed, wash, and finely chop. Heat oil in a pan or wok. Roast the garlic, chili pepper, and pine nuts for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the ham, stir, and heat for another 2 minutes. Then stir in the drained noodles and heat briefly until piping hot. Finally, grind pepper over the top and serve immediately. Serve with a mixed salad.
