Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 chicken legs
- e.g. salt and pepper
- n. B. Thyme
- e.g. rosemary
- e.g. Paprika powder, hot or sweet
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Wash the chicken drumsticks, dry them, season them, and place them all in a large roasting bag. Seal the bag according to the manufacturer’s instructions, piercing the bag if necessary. Cook in a hot oven at 225°C (425°F) top/bottom heat for 45 minutes. The chicken drumsticks also taste delicious cold. Note from Chefkoch.de: Today’s roasting bags only seem to be heat-resistant up to 200°C (400°F). This is a recipe from 2001; perhaps different roasting bags were available back then, or some ovens didn’t reach that high a temperature. Please pay attention to the instructions on the roasting bag packaging and, if necessary, cook for a little longer at a lower temperature. They also work well without the roasting bag – same method, same time.
