tasty chicken fingers wrapped in bacon

Wash the chicken fillets and pat dry. Then cut the fillets lengthwise into long, approximately 2-3 cm thick strips. Peel the onions, halve them, and cut them into strips or slices, along with the garlic. Then place two slices of Black Forest ham overlapping one another and sprinkle with thyme. Place one strip of chicken fillet on top, top with one slice of onion and one slice of garlic, and roll up. The vegetables will prevent the meat from drying out. Place the finished rolls in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and bake in the oven at 190°C (fan oven) for about 30 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, and all kinds of vegetables!
