Chicken gyros

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 300 g yogurt
  • 150 g bell pepper(s)
  • 400 g chicken fillet(s)
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp spice mix for gyros
  • spring onion(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 servings of potatoes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook the potatoes with their skins on for 25 minutes. Mix the quark and yogurt with salt and pepper. Finely chop the bell pepper and slice the spring onion, and stir both into the quark. Thinly slice the chicken fillets and season with oil and gyro seasoning. Finely chop the onion. Fry the chicken gyro with the onions in a non-stick pan for 4-5 minutes, season with pepper. Rinse the potatoes and peel. Serve everything.
