Chicken in Mushroom and Ginger Sauce

The perfect chicken in mushroom and ginger sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Chicken breast filter cut into strips
  • 500 g Sliced ​​mushrooms brown gob
  • 3 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 25 piece Shallots chopped
  • 4 tbsp Flour
  • 160 g Natural yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp Freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Worcester sauce
  • 300 ml Chicken broth
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  1. Turn the meat in the flour. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meat for 4 minutes until crispy. Put in a saucepan and keep warm.
  2. Fry the shallots and mushrooms in the gravy. Add the chicken stock, Worcester sauce, ginger and honey. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add the mixture to the meat, stir well and simmer for a medium 30 minutes.
  3. Add the yoghurt and bring to the boil briefly and season again to taste. Rice goes well with it.
