Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 piece(s) ginger, fresh, thumb-sized, finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp sambal oelek
  • 1 chili pepper(s), dried
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oil (sesame oil)
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 15 minutes

For the marinade, mix the soy sauce with the sesame oil and water, add the chopped ginger and garlic, and the sambal oelek. If you like it spicy, you can add more than 1 teaspoon of sambal oelek and/or finely chop 1-2 chilies and stir in. Cut the chicken breast into strips and let them marinate for 6-24 hours. It’s best to prepare them the day before and let them marinate overnight. Then, fry the chicken breast strips in a pan with a little sesame oil. Done!
