Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 chicken breast fillets
- 4 tbsp mustard, grainy
- 1 pack of bacon
- Pepper, freshly ground black
- Chives, fresh, finely chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Bacon-wrapped chicken breasts
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Season both sides of the chicken fillets with pepper and spread with mustard. Place three slices of bacon on each side, overlapping each other, and flatten with a wide knife. Carefully wrap the chicken fillet in the bacon and repeat with the remaining fillets. Place the fillets in a baking dish and bake at 190°C (375°F) for 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle with chives and serve immediately. Anything goes well with this dish; we like garlic mashed potatoes and a salad, or Sam33’s colorful paprika rice, or simply a baguette.
