Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 350 g chicken liver(s)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 bananas
  • 4 tsp curry powder
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 100 g cream cheese (Buko India)
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the chicken livers, dry them, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Peel the bananas and slice them into approx. 1 cm thick. Brown the chicken livers in hot olive oil in a pan, seasoning with salt and curry powder. Remove the livers from the pan and keep warm. Brown the banana slices in the frying fat, dusting with curry powder. Add the banana slices to the livers and keep everything warm. Heat the milk in the frying fat and stir in the cream cheese, seasoning to taste. Add the livers and bananas and bring everything back to a gentle boil. Serve with basmati rice.
