Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g turkey liver
- 2 large onions
- 2 large apples (Boskop)
- 3 tbsp butter or margarine
- salt and pepper
- ⅛ liter wine, white, dry
- 1 tbsp sauce thickener

Wash and clean the poultry livers thoroughly and chop to taste. Peel the onions and slice into rings. Wash the apples, peel if necessary and cut into 1/2 cm thick slices. Fry the onion rings until golden brown, remove and drain well on kitchen paper. Fry the apples in fat until golden yellow and drain well. Brown the livers for 3-5 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper. Remove when they are still slightly pink on the inside. Pour in the white wine and reduce slightly. Add the liver, onions and apples again. Now thicken with ready-made gravy thickener (or cornstarch mixed with a little cream) and serve with bread or mashed potatoes.
