Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 150 g breadcrumbs
  • 100 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 100 ml vegetable oil
  • 1 kg potato(s), waxy
  • 2 kg frying oil
  • n. B. Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

easy and quick to prepare

Peel the potatoes, cut them into sticks about 1 1/2 cm wide (I sliced them, but you can do it however you like), and fry them in hot oil in the deep fryer for about 3 minutes. Then cut the meat into equal-sized strips (about 3 cm) and season with salt and pepper. Beat the two eggs. First coat the meat pieces in flour, then dip them in the beaten eggs, and finally coat them in breadcrumbs (I coat them more often, pressing the meat pieces firmly into the pan). Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan (the oil should be about 1 cm high up the side of the pan; you may need more or less depending on the size of the pan). Fry the chicken nuggets for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Meanwhile, fry the fries for another 4 minutes. Drain the fries and season with salt if desired.
