Chicken – Paprika – Goulash

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 600 g chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 500 g pointed peppers, yellow or red, alternatively red sweet peppers
  • 3 large onions, finely diced
  • 400 ml sweet cream
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 tsp paprika powder, hot
  • 1 pinch of chili powder
  • Salt
  • Vegetable oil, neutral

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Pörkölt

To make the goulash, slice the bell peppers into strips and fry them in oil in a large pan along with the meat and onions. Deglaze the pan with cream and season with paprika, chili, and salt. Let the goulash simmer gently for about 20 minutes with the lid on. Season again. Serve with dumplings, spaetzle, or rice and a green salad.
