Chicken Paprika
The perfect chicken paprika recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Chicken breast fillet
- 1 Onion red
- 1 Green pepper
- 1 Red pepper
- 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 250 ml Cream substitute from Rama 7% fat
- Sweet paprika powder
- Rose paprika powder
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 Cup Rice
- Cook rice according to the instructions on the packet. Cut the onion + bell pepper into strips. First cut the chicken breast fillet lengthways, then crosswise into strips.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and sear the meat and season with salt. Remove and drain on kitchen paper.
- In the same pan, sauté the vegetables in 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat, after 2-3 minutes season vigorously with paprika and add a dash of water and the cream substitute. Simmer for 2-3 minutes over low heat. Season to taste with salt, pepper and possibly more paprika powder.
- Put the meat back in the pan and heat it up briefly. Serve immediately with the rice.
