Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 ml orange juice
- 100 ml cream
- some thyme
- salt and pepper
- some cornstarch or dark sauce thickener
- possibly water
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes
with orange juice and thyme
Heat the orange juice in a saucepan and thicken with cornstarch or a sauce thickener. Add cream and thyme. Season to taste with a little salt and pepper. If the sauce tastes too orangey for your liking, you can partially replace the orange juice with water (e.g., 150 ml water to 100 ml juice). This sauce is especially good with duck and goose, but can also be served with chicken.
