Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 chicken schnitzels, or turkey
- 100 g Parmesan, or Grana Padano
- 2 handfuls of flour
- 1 egg(s)
- 4 tbsp butter
- salt and pepper
- chili powder
- Garlic granules
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 28 minutes
First, briefly rinse the chicken schnitzels, then pat them dry. Wrap them in cling film and flatten them with a frying pan. Then set up a breading station. On the first plate, place the flour, on the second plate, an egg beaten with salt, pepper, chili, and garlic granules, and on the third plate, add the shaved Parmesan or Grana Padano. Sprinkle the schnitzels lightly with pepper and salt, then coat them in flour, dip them in the egg, and finally press them into the Parmesan. Heat a pan with the butter over high heat and sear the schnitzels for 3-4 minutes on each side.
