Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 chicken schnitzels or turkey schnitzels
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 organic lemon(s), zest
- 8 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 egg(s), beaten
- some salt and pepper
- lots of butter for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Wash the chicken or turkey schnitzels and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper and coat in a little lemon zest, then gently in flour. Dip in egg, then in breadcrumbs, pressing the coating firmly into the pan. Heat plenty of butter in a pan and fry the schnitzels until crispy and brown. Serve with potatoes, lemon wedges, and a fresh salad.
