Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
- 2 tbsp honey, liquid
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 lemon(s), organic
- 1 tbsp oil
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 51 minutes
Wash the lemon in hot water and dry. Grate the zest and squeeze the juice. Combine 2 tablespoons of juice, the lemon zest, and the remaining ingredients, and season with pepper. Oil 4 wooden skewers. Wash the meat, pat dry, roughly dice, and thread it onto the wooden skewers. Brush with the honey-mustard marinade and let it marinate, covered, for at least 30 minutes. Season the skewers with salt and either fry in a non-stick pan over medium heat for about 6 minutes or grill it. Serve with a refreshing cucumber salad with yogurt and cress.
