Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 chicken breasts (frozen)
- 2 tbsp paprika powder
- 2 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 lemon(s), the juice
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- some salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes
for the barbecue season
Thaw the chicken breasts and cut into strips. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Marinate the meat in the mixture in the refrigerator for 3 hours. Grill the chicken strips on both sides on the grill (or in the oven or pan). Serving suggestion: Arrange chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce on a grilled pita bread, place the souvlaki on top, and garnish with 2 tablespoons of yogurt.
