Chicken strips with mandarins and mango

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 can mandarin orange(s), drained
  • 1 mango(s), finely chopped
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 onion(s)
  • Ginger
  • Paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup broth
  • curry powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

First, chop the meat into small pieces. Then fry it vigorously in a pan. Peel and chop the onions, then fry them together with the meat. Add the mango and drained mandarin oranges to the hot pan. Continue frying until the mandarin oranges almost fall apart. Season to taste. Be careful not to use too much salt. The broth will add salt to the dish. Deglaze with about 1 cup of broth and simmer briefly. Then add cream and curry powder, thickening with a sauce thickener if desired. Any side dish is possible, but rice or noodles are best.
