Chicken strips with mushrooms

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g chicken, shredded
  • 400 g mushrooms, cleaned, halved
  • 4 stalks of spring onion(s), cut into rings
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • some salt and pepper
  • Fondor
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Briefly fry the chicken strips in hot oil, season with salt and pepper. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Then add the finely chopped onion and spring onions to the pan, fry briefly, and then immediately add the cleaned, halved mushrooms and the finely chopped garlic clove. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. After 5 minutes, remove the lid from the pan so the mushroom liquid can evaporate. Season with salt, pepper, and Fondor to taste. Finally, return the meat to the pan, stir everything well, and heat briefly. This dish tastes great with tomato salad and is a wonderful evening meal, as it contains no carbohydrates.
