Chicken with ginger and garlic

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g chicken breast
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp ginger root, should be about the same amount as garlic
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the chicken into thin slices, sear in oil, remove from the pot, and set aside. Peel the ginger and garlic and chop very finely (the finer the better, but don’t puree them!). Add new oil to the pot and heat until very hot. Sauté the ginger and garlic, stirring briefly. (Garlic browns quickly, but shouldn’t overcook). Add the meat, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and a little warm water, depending on your taste and the desired amount of juice. Cover and simmer for about 5 minutes. Serve with rice.
