Chickpeas Meet Beans atRice Tower
The perfect chickpeas meet beans atrice tower recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 small can Peeled tomatoes
- 1 small can Chickpeas
- 1 small can Kidney beans
- 1 small can Giant white beans
- 3 piece Grilled peppers from the glass, roughly chopped
- 6 piece Small hot peppers, glass
- 1 piece Onion, finely diced
- 2 piece Garlic cloves, roughly chopped
- 2 piece Spring onions, in fine rings
- 1 tbsp Agave syrup
- Coconut oil
- Salt, pepper, paprika
- Rice
- Sweat the onion in a saucepan with a little coconut oil. Add tomatoes, peppers, paprika and garlic. Salt a little and bring to the boil. Cover and simmer on a low flame for 15 minutes. Puree with the magic wand. Season to taste with pepper and paprika.
- Rinse the chickpeas and beans well and add them to the pan. Stir well and cover and let simmer on a very low flame until the rice is cooked and cooked through. Mix the agave syrup into the beans just before serving. Season again to taste, possibly adding a little more Tabasco. It can and should be a bit sharp.
- Drain the rice and place it in the middle of a plate as a turret. Place the chickpeas with the beans around them and sprinkle with the spring onions. Put on the table immediately.
