  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup of yogurt or sour cream, as desired
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 1 lemon(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

You have to try this!

Fry the minced meat until crispy and crumbly; I prefer Thuringian. Halve the chicory, remove the stalk in a wedge shape, and place it in the bottom of a deep casserole dish. Spread the fried minced meat on top. Mix together the cream, sour cream, yogurt, or sour cream, season to taste with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, and pour over the meat. Finally, sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 40 minutes, initially covered with aluminum foil or a lid, and uncovered for the last 10-15 minutes. The quantities of chicory and minced meat can be adjusted to your liking. We like a bit more vegetables than meat.
