Chicory with Gratinated Feta Cheese

The perfect chicory with gratinated feta cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Pc. Medium-Sized chicory
  • 500 g Small potato
  • 200 gr Fresh mushrooms
  • 1 Large onions
  • 250 g Feta cheese
  • 1 Red peppers
  • 0,5 packet Sour cream or crème fraich
  • 100 ml Whole milk
  • 3 Spring onions
  • 1 tsp Vegetable broth
  • Salt, pepper, paprika noble sweet

Preparation: chicory with gratinated feta cheese

  1. Clean the chiccoree, cut in half and cut out the middle stalk and cut into strips
  2. Boil small potatoes, peel and slice if necessary. Chop the mushrooms, peppers and onions into small pieces.
  3. Brush the baking dish with olive oil. Spread the chicory, peppers, onions and potatoes in it.
  4. Cut the feta cheese into cubes and spread over the top with the spring onion.
  5. Mix the crème fraich with the milk and vegetable stock, salt, pepper and paprika powder and pour over.
  6. Put the casserole dish in the preheated oven, cook for approx. 20 minutes at 180 degrees fan-assisted. PS: the chicory salad goes well with it, fruity, and a glass of fine white wine.
