Tomato mozzarella with toast cubes for children

Toast the two slices of whole-wheat toast. Cut the mozzarella into approximately 1 cm cubes. Halve or quarter the washed cherry tomatoes, depending on their size. Dice the toasted slices of toast as well. Gently mix everything together with 1 to 2 drizzles of olive oil and a little salt and serve. This is a very popular dinner for us any time of year. The tomatoes should be as ripe (i.e., sweet) as possible. Tip: Depending on the age of the children, you can add one or two turns of the pepper mill and some basil.
