Clean muesli bars without additives

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 50 g flaxseed
  • 15 g puffed amaranth
  • 2 egg whites
  • 50 g coconut oil
  • 50 g coconut blossom syrup
  • 70 g apple puree, unsweetened
  • 100 g dried apple rings or unsweetened apple chips
  • 100 g dried apricots, dried, unsweetened
  • 60 g pineapple, dried, unsweetened

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

This recipe yields approximately 18 bars; the calorie count is based on one bar. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top and bottom heat). Lightly toast the oats in a non-stick pan without adding any fat. Chop the dried fruit or finely chop it in a blender. Thoroughly mix the oats, flaxseed, amaranth, egg white, coconut oil, coconut blossom syrup, and apple puree with the dried fruit and spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Form into a rectangle as straight as possible. Bake for 15 minutes. Then cut the mixture into bars and bake for another 15 minutes. As they cool, gently push the bars apart to prevent them from sticking together.
