Make a yeast dough by kneading all ingredients, from flour to salt, into a smooth dough. If using a food processor, you don’t even need to dissolve the yeast; just finely crumble it into the flour. Let the dough rise until it has doubled in size. Take a third of the dough; this will later form the bear’s head. Form 13 balls from the remaining dough, making 4 slightly larger balls; these will later form the arms and legs. Loosely place nine balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to form the belly, add the slightly larger arms and legs, and then add the head. There’s no need to “glue” the individual pieces together; they will expand slightly during baking and then stick together. Brush with egg yolk. Shape the head with raisins for the eyes and poppy seeds for the mouth line, and almonds for the nose. Let rise for another 10 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for 20-25 minutes. Once cooled, the children can break off the individual rolls and enjoy them with dips and raw vegetables or sausages.
