Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 60 g crackers, salted
- 40 g butter, melted, cooled
- 1 tbsp water
- 200 g double cream cheese
- 2 eggs
- 2 pepperoncini, pitted, in fine strips
- 1 bunch parsley, flat, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp flour
- ½ tsp salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Crush the crackers in a plastic bag with a rolling pin or grind them in a food processor. Mix with the melted butter and water. Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking dish (approx. 22 cm in diameter), press down firmly with the bottom of a glass, and chill for approx. 15 minutes. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and all other ingredients up to and including the flour. Season the mixture and spread it on the cracker base. Bake for approx. 30 minutes in the lower half of an oven preheated to 180°C. Then let it cool in the switched off oven with the door slightly ajar for approx. 20 minutes. Remove from the dish and serve lukewarm or cold.
