Chili con Carne

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g onion(s)
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can of tomatoes, peeled
  • 1 bunch chives, chopped
  • 1 bag of spice mix for chili con carne
  • salt and pepper
  • some water as needed

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and finely chop the onions, and sauté until translucent. Add the minced meat and fry. Trim and finely chop the bell peppers, and fry for 2 minutes. Deglaze with a little water, then add the kidney beans with the tomatoes and seasoning. Cook for about 15-20 minutes. Add the chives and serve.
