Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • some oil for frying
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 250 g onion(s)
  • 3 bell peppers
  • 50 g mustard
  • 50 g tomato paste
  • 800 g tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tbsp paprika powder
  • 3 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 dashes liquid sweetener
  • 2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 4 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp Tabasco
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 50 g olives, black
  • 250 g corn
  • 500 g kidney beans

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Brown the minced meat in a large pot with a little oil. Dice the garlic, onion, and bell peppers and add to the minced meat. Fry everything well until the minced meat is cooked and the garlic and onion are translucent. Add the mustard and tomato paste and fry briefly. Add the chopped tomatoes and all the seasonings and top up with the stock. Simmer, stirring frequently. Stir in a large portion of the cheese. Meanwhile, halve the olives and add them to the pot along with the corn and kidney beans. Mix everything well and simmer until the chili reaches the desired consistency. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese to serve. Per serving: approx. 705 kcal.
