Quickly prepared chili con carne from canned ingredients, suitable for parties

Peel and dice the onions. Brown them with the ground beef in heated oil in a pan. Add the crushed tomatoes, kidney beans, and corn with the liquid and simmer for at least 30 minutes, until thickened. Depending on your taste and the contents of your spice rack, season to taste with chili powder, cayenne pepper, chili con carne seasoning mix, hot paprika powder, or fresh chili peppers or hot peppers, and serve with toast. Note: I don’t season this chili with salt; I prefer the pure flavor of hot paprika. After the 30 minutes, you can adjust this to your liking.
