Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 ml oil, peanut or sesame oil
  • 6 small chili peppers, fresh, red (medium hot variety)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 30 g fresh ginger

Rinse the bottles with hot water, wash the chilies, remove the stems, and cut into 3-4 lengthwise strips. Peel the garlic, quarter it, and remove the germ. Peel the ginger and cut it into strips. Divide the ginger, chilies, and garlic evenly among the bottles, pour in the oil, and cork. Let it steep for at least 2 weeks, shaking occasionally.
