Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 160 g ginger
  • 8 lemons
  • 400 g sugar
  • 400 ml water
  • 4 red chili peppers
  • 750 ml double grain beer

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 28 days; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 28 days 20 minutes

Peel the ginger and slice it thinly. Peel the lemons thinly and squeeze the juice. Cut the chili peppers into thin slices. Simmer the ginger, chili, lemon peel, lemon juice, water, and sugar for 10 minutes. Add the Doppelkorn schnapps. Pour everything into a large glass and let it steep for 4 weeks. After 4 weeks, strain the liqueur and enjoy.
