Chinese Beef with Paprika
The perfect chinese beef with paprika recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 50 g Soy beef fillets
- 2 piece Peppers
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon Rice wine
- Ginger, fresh or dried, amount to taste
- Chilli, fresh or granulated, amount to taste
- Garlic, fresh or granulated, quantity according to taste
- Pour boiling water over the beef fillets in a bowl. Let it soften for about 10 minutes. Drain and drain well. Cut the swollen pieces into small pieces (I quarter them) and put them back in the bowl. Pour soy sauce, sesame oil and rice wine over them. Add ginger (grated or finely diced), chilli (cut into rings) and garlic (pressed or chopped) and mix well. Let stand for at least 30 minutes and stir well every now and then. In between wash and core the peppers and cut into diamonds / squares of approx. 2cm.
- Put the entire contents of the bowl (with marinade) in a large, heated pan or wok and simmer for a few minutes. The peppers should cook but retain a bit of a bite.
- Serve with rice.
