Ingredients
 

  • 1,5 Kg Beef
  • 5 Onions
  • 3 size Red pointed peppers
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 6 Allspice grains
  • 0,5 bottle Dry red wine
  • 400 ml Beef stock
  • 1 El Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 Tl Hot paprika powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 toes Fresh garlic
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1 small can Tomato paste

Instructions
 

  • Cut the meat into cubes. Cut the onion into slices and the bell pepper into strips. Fry quickly in a hot pan.
  • When the meat is light brown in color, add the tomato paste briefly with sweat and then add the onions, paprika and paprika powder, fry everything briefly and deglaze with the red wine.
  • Let the wine boil down, then add the stock and bring to the boil. Add all the spices as well as the garlic and let simmer in the oven at 130 ° C for about 2 hours to 3 hours, when the meat is nice and soft then season the goulash with a pinch of sugar, if necessary, season and thicken with a little flour butter.
