Chinese noodle salad

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g glass noodles
  • 3 bell pepper(s), red
  • 5 stalk(s) Celery
  • 2 bunch spring onions
  • 2 chili peppers, green
  • 1 bunch of coriander leaves
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp white wine
  • 6 tbsp sesame oil
  • pepper
  • some sugar
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Prepare the glass noodles according to the package instructions. Then place the noodles in a colander and let them drain. Cut the noodles to the desired length using kitchen scissors. Wash and slice the bell peppers. Wash and thinly slice the celery. Bring the water to a boil in a pot. Blanch the bell peppers and celery slices for about 5 minutes, drain in a colander, and refresh with cold water. Peel the onion and slice into thin rings. Wash the chili peppers and cut into very small pieces. Place the prepared ingredients in a salad bowl and mix. For the sauce, wash and finely chop the cilantro. Mix the soy sauce with the wine. Whisk in the oil, season with pepper, sugar, and chili. Stir in the cilantro. Mix the sauce with the salad ingredients and let it marinate for a while (best in the refrigerator).
