Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g rice or noodles
- salt and pepper
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- 2 bell peppers, colored
- 1 jar sprouts (mung bean sprouts)
- 400 g chicken fillet(s)
- oil
- ½ tsp sesame or almond flakes
- Soy sauce
- Sambal Oelek
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cook rice in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes until al dente. Clean and wash the spring onions and bell peppers, then cut into rings or strips. Wash the meat, pat dry, and cut into strips. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Fry the meat on all sides for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the rice and fry briefly. Remove everything. Drain the rice. Fry with the vegetables in the drippings for about 5 minutes. Add the meat and sprouts and heat through. Season with soy sauce and sambal oelek. Garnish with chives, if desired.
