Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g lean pork
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce, light
  • 2 tsp sake
  • 1 liter chicken broth
  • 4 dried Chinese mushrooms (soaked in thin slices)
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 40 g glass noodles
  • Tabasco
  • salt and pepper
  • 20 sugar snap peas

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the meat into wafer-thin slices and marinate in soy sauce and sake for 10 minutes. Bring the meat to a boil in the broth with the marinade, mushrooms, carrots, and snow peas. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes. Add the noodles, bring back to a boil, and simmer for 2 minutes. Add Tabasco to taste and season to taste.
