Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 150 g pork, streaky, in thin strips
- 100 g bamboo shoot(s) cut into thin strips
- 100 g carrot(s) in thin strips
- 2 stalk(s) celery in thin slices
- 2 slice(s) ginger, the root, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 sprig(s) dill, finely chopped
- 3 mushrooms, Chinese, roughly cut into pieces, soak for 30 minutes at Donggu or Xianggu, remove the stems
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 liters of chicken broth

Qingtang
Heat the chicken broth in a saucepan until boiling, add the listed ingredients, and simmer for about 10 minutes. Then add salt and the sauces, stir, and sprinkle with finely chopped dill. A vegetable soup can also be made without using meat. Simply sauté the vegetables briefly in a little oil, deglaze with broth or water, add soy sauce, season to taste, and top up with chicken broth. Spinach, kale, or Chinese cabbage can be used as a complement.
