Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 100 g butter, cold
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 apples, sour
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

French apple pie

Knead the dough ingredients thoroughly, cover, and refrigerate for about 2 hours. Roll out the dough and place it in a well-greased tart pan. Blind bake at 200°C for about 10 minutes. Peel the apples and slice them. Spread them evenly over the dough. Whisk together the topping ingredients and pour over the apples. Bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
