Chocolate Amaretto Croissants

  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa powder slightly de-oiled
  • 2 tbsp Amaretto
  1. This stupid meat grinder “hamsters” the dough ….. no longer spits it out. My patience is at the end. What do I do with the rest of the batter for the shortbread cookies.
  2. Dust the work surface with a little flour. Get the batter out of the fridge. Knead with 2 tbsp flour, cocoa and amaretto. (possibly add a little more flour)
  3. Shape rolls ….. but not as thick as mine in the pictures. laugh ……
  4. Cut into pieces and form croissants, flattening the surface a little.
  5. Line the tray with baking paper and place the croissants on top. Bake at 175 degrees for about 20 minutes.
  6. Let cool down and enjoy. My husband was happy that these things got so big … good for typing. At least one is satisfied ……..
  7. Are amazingly tasty.
