Chocolate banana ice cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 m.-large banana(s), ripe
  • 200 g chocolate coating, whole milk
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 dashes sweetener
  • 50 g almonds, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

for the ice cream machine

Lightly whip the cream and set aside. Melt the chocolate coating in a double boiler and let it cool (do not allow it to solidify), then set aside. Peel the bananas and mash them well with a fork. Now mix the lightly whipped cream with the bananas and milk. Slowly fold in the melted chocolate coating and stir in about 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder for color and flavor. Season to taste. Finally, fold in the chopped almonds. Now churn the ice cream mixture according to the ice cream maker’s instructions.
